Mission
Create a trustless marketplace where creators can mint and sell digital assets without relying on centralized platforms, middlemen, or opaque royalty systems. The objective was to showcase a clean, transparent NFT trading flow powered entirely by smart contracts.
Challenge
Typical marketplaces hide all the critical logic behind proprietary servers. Rebuilding this transparently on-chain meant dealing with: secure minting of NFTs using ERC-721/1155 standards, implementing a fair buy/sell mechanism without custodial control, handling royalty logic directly in smart contracts, resolving media assets from decentralized storage, and ensuring the UI interacts smoothly with blockchain events in real time. The technical challenge was to design a system where every action — minting, listing, purchasing — is verifiable and irreversible without sacrificing usability.
Goal
Deliver a fully functional decentralized marketplace where users can: Mint new NFTs and store metadata on IPFS/Pinata. List and delist assets with on-chain price management. Purchase NFTs through trustless smart contract execution. View marketplace items with live blockchain state, no backend servers. Have creators automatically receive royalties through built-in contract logic. The project demonstrates your ability to architect a complete on-chain marketplace that handles creation, trade, and display of NFTs while keeping user ownership and transparency at the center.
